Our Story...

No pets in the world eat better than ours. Whether it's fresh frozen raw food at home, or all natural dry & canned food on the road, we know that we're giving them the best there is for a long and healthy life.

It wasn't always so...

Within one year in the late 1980's we lost two seven year old dogs to lymphoma. Because this disease is not contagious, we strongly suspected that they both had been exposed to something, but what?

Research we did uncovered studies that showed a link between herbicides and lymphoma in small animals. In fact, the incidence of lymphoma, both in pet's and humans, had increased dramatically since the 1960's, a period that also saw greatly increased use of agricultural chemicals.

The dogs we lost had been fed what was then considered a "premium" dog food. Truth is, it contained meat by-products, chemical preservatives, and lots of grains(raised with herbicides?), all of which can seriously challenge a pet's health and immune system.

Too soon old, too late smart. Had we been better informed, had we read the label and thought more about what our pets were actually eating, we might have avoided a tragedy.

When we acquired Crown Hill Pet in 1993 we began eliminating such inferior junk foods in favor of natural diets and supplements that are the foundation for wellness and vitality. Over the years we have helped countless people eliminate their pets' chronic skin & ear conditions, improve joint function, lose weight, and greatly enhance their pets' general well being.
